An example of a training course introducing doctoral and post-doctoral researchers to the different routes of technology and knowledge transfer.
The reluctance of some researchers to engage in technology transfer can to a certain extent be explained by the fact that many researchers have no experience with technology transfer. This can in part be resolved by offering adapted training on technology transfer for academic researchers. Young researchers (late PhD, early Post-Doc) tend to be particularly interested in such training sessions. This is explained by the fact that for these young researchers a long-term academic career is only one and highly uncertain career option.
