ENTENTE Professional Exchange Programme, will you be the next Laureate ?

Cécile Caulier
Professional Exchange Programme Leader

The ENTENTE Project aims at strengthening knowledge transfer offices in universities, public research organizations, hospitals and at promoting transnational collaboration between industry and academia in the health sector, through networking activities among all the key stakeholders within knowledge transfer in the health sector in Europe.

ENTENTE  Professional Exchange Programme is the perfect tool to achieve this goal. This Programme is designed to develop the experience and expertise of technology transfer professionals while building stronger professional networks and relationships amongst TTOs themselves, and between TTOs and Industry.

This Exchange Programme has been designed in a way that would suit any technology transfer professional regardless of his seniority and enables a high flexibility based onto a personalized guidance and assistance. But what makes the ENTENTE Professional Exchange Programme really unique is the hosting organisations that are participating to this programme on a voluntary basis in order to favor the technology transfer ecosystem, in Europe and abroad.

From the beginning of the ENTENTE Project in September 2012, three separate calls have been launched Thanks to our network of 19 dedicated hosting organisations based in 9 countries who accepted one to four laureates in their office with a total of 28 laureates selected based on their competences and motivation. Those 28 laureates were selected among a pool of more than 75 applications coming from 49 technology transfer offices based in 19 countries !

Some concrete, tangible results coming from these exchanges have been reported by the laureates who came back from their exchanges among which we can cite :

  • Transnational effort on valorization of licence
  • Study of the local initiative (clusters, Poles, research centers) to be applied in the country of the Laureate
  • Possible future collaboration in Horizon 2020
  • Enlarge network for the laureate and consequently to the Hosting Organisations

As well, a direct gain of experience for daily activities of tech transfer professional has been reported: use of new tools for scouting, technology assessment /market research, study of contract frames (CDA, NDAs, MTAs, term sheets and Licensing Agreement), accounting, quality process, handle of press release, patent strategies among other…

If you want to be one of the ENTENTE Laureate, join up the community to be aware of the fourth and last call to be launched very soon !
