By providing accommodation, facilities, expertise and access to finance, we’ve made BioCity an international centre for new thinking in bioscience business, with more than 80 companies across sites in both England (Nottingham) and Scotland (Newhouse). BioCity Scotland is situated on the former Merck Shape and Dohme site on the outskirts of Glasgow. We provide commercialisation support to the companies located on our site, to entrepreneurs, spinouts and start up companies.

We have implemented an evidence-based entrepreneurship programme designed to assist start up and spinout companies search for a repeatable and scalable business model. We intend to roll out this programme in 2015 and will be running boot camps and other activities that we would like the candidate to participate in.
