Edinburgh BioQuarter commercialises intellectual property arising from biomedical research at the University of Edinburgh and the NHS, via either industrial collaborations or company formation.

Based around a world leading Academic Medical Centre, BioQuarter is home to three major research institutes with over 2000 biomedical researchers and clinicians.

Facilities include a leading medical school, two large teaching hospitals, a state-of-the-art clinical imaging facility, accredited Phase I clinical trials suites, GMP manufacturing facilities and over 90,000 sq. ft. of incubator laboratory space.

The BioQuarter team are seeking commercial partners for academic/industry collaborations.  Expertise includes translational medicine, regenerative medicine, fibrosis, respiratory biology, oncology, reproductive biology and neurodegenerative disorders.

Our objective is to make Edinburgh BioQuarter one of Europe’s leading centres for translational medicine and biomedical commercialisation.
