Fundamentals of technology transfer

The fundamentals of technology transfer is designed for individuals who are relatively new to technology transfer. Research and development collaboration

This course is designed for those with 1 to 3 years of experience in the field of technology transfer – long enough to have developed an appreciation of the more complex and troublesome contract negotiation issues but not too long to have figured out all the answers by trial and error. One major element of the course relates to the management of the expectations of the parties involved. Another very important issue is that of intellectual property – which we think is the most problematic issue associated with collaborative work. During this training course, we will address all of these issues to help you become more confident in drafting, negotiating and managing international research collaborations.
